Well-Bean Mental Health

About
Hello! My name is Tom Bean. I have a beautiful wife and four amazing children. I enjoy sports and competition. I almost always root for the underdog. I am an avid BYU sports fan. I have always been inspired when I see others overcome challenges and thrive. I like to help people any way I can.

Education & Credentials
For my undergraduate work, I studied Fitness and Wellness at BYU and then went on to PA school at A. T. Still University of Health Sciences in Arizona. I have practiced family medicine and urgent care for the last couple of decades. Having a personal history of depression and anxiety has helped me connect with mental-health patients over the years. For this reason, I have decided to specialize in this field. To improve my education, I completed a doctorate of medical science with an emphasis in psychiatry at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I also completed the requirements for a certification of added qualification in psychiatry (CAQ-PSY). Over the years I have been frustrated with busy schedules and having just 15 minutes for mental-health patients who I felt I could help much more with adequate time. The vision of Well-Bean Mental Health is to provide excellent mental health care in the way of medication management and optimal therapy in a caring and affordable manner.

My new book is available
I wrote a book called "Melancholy Marathon". It emphasizes clinical depression, but includes advice on anxiety also. I combine my personal experiences with education and research as well as 20+ years of experience treating patients. It's available on Amazon, but I prefer the personalized touch of signing and delivering in person.
I am so grateful for Tom!!! I have never felt more cared for before! He was able to help me with my condition and is very personable.
